Linda Ronstadt sings some of my favorite love songs, so I would like to share some of them with you. Hope you like them.
1. Blue bayou
I love the way she hits that high note at the end. I long to be by the sea. This is one of my favorite love songs, but it takes a good voice to hit the high and low notes. Linda has that voice!
Everybody needs to be loved.
Money can’t buy happiness.
No fake roses.
Do you want my love?
Cupid shot his dart at you! Ms Ronstadt does a good job on this old Buddy Holly number.
All those nights wasted!
8. It’ so easy
One comedian said that dogs only take a few seconds to fall in love – just one sniff!
Gotta be sure girls, or the guys may just use you.
Once you love someone, it is hard to stop. When I was young I used to get very sad singing this favorite love song because it reminded me of a girl who was very special to me.
Girls trio. Linda Ronstadt teams up with Dolly Parton and Emmylou Harris.
13. Farther along
One day we will know all the answers.
I think this is an old war song.
Go where you can find love.
Written by Willie Nelson.
19. Crazy arms
We have to learn to be satisfied, and not keep looking for ‘greener pastures.’
20. I fall to pieces
I first heard this one by Jim Reeves.
Jamming with Johnny.
22. Back in the USA
Jamming with Chuck Berry and Keith Richards.
Jamming with Cher.
I have a double LP record set of Linda Ronstadt, and one of my favorite love songs by her is the Wayward Wind, but I can’t find it on the net.
