These folks sing and play some of my favorite love songs that take me way back to my childhood, through into my teenage years and on into adulthood. I wish I could play guitar like Herb Kraus, and I wish I could move like the Walkin’ Shoes.
- Red River Rock – My favorite love song by Herb Kraus and the Walkin’ Shoes
- Old time rock and roll
- Midnight special
- Tulsa Time In America they have time zones, and they change the times twice in a year too – it can be very confusing for a foreigner. When I first went to Canada, I was asked to sing in a church, so I went a half an hour early to set up my amplifier, and discovered they were already busy with the song service. Nobody had thought to tell me that they had changed the clocks!
- Down on the corner
- Route 66 I first heard this song by the Rolling Stones.
- That’ll be the day I think I heard this favorite love song by Mickie Most when I was a teenager.
- Let’s have a party I remember Elvis Presley singing this song. I grew up in a British Colony in Africa, and when I was a little boy at school they told me about the Boston Tea Party. How some guys dressed up as Red Indians and threw tea into the sea. We never has a sea in our country, so we never did that! We never shook a chicken in the middle of the room either!
- Reggae music
- Be Bop a Lula I first heard this favorite love songs by the Everly Brothers. It brings back so many nice memories. Thank you Herb Kraus and the Walkin’ Shoes.
- Achy Breaky Heart
- Mr. Tambourine Man
- Shake, rattle and roll
- Rock and roll medley Herb Kraus and the Walkin’ Shoes have a whole lot more songs on the YouTube, if you want to check them out. I also have a country gospel website, if you would like to check it out: countrygospelandbible.com
