\nToday I was singing “Have I told you lately that I love you” and so I thought I would do a section on Guy and Ralna singing this favorite love song. This is one of the first love songs I heard my mother sing when I was a little boy. The way these folks sing is so beautiful to me.<\/p>\n

2. I can’t stop loving you<\/a><\/p>\n

Many times I imagine how Elvis would sing this song, and I swing the guitar around. Unfortunately, I have never seen him do it. This is definitely one of my all time favorite love songs.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0True love<\/a><\/p>\n

When Guy and Ralna sing favorite love songs, I think it is the closest you can ever get to the real thing.<\/p>\n

4. Let it be me<\/a><\/p>\n

I heard the Everly Brothers sing this one when I was a teenager, so it brings back lots of lovely memories.<\/p>\n

5. When I’m sixty four<\/a><\/p>\n

Their songs seem to span the decades. I heard this one many times on the radio by the Fab Four.<\/p>\n

6. You’re my best friend<\/a><\/p>\n

One of my favorite love songs by Don Williams.<\/p>\n

7. Bye bye love<\/a><\/p>\n

I remember singing this one at the Salisbury Rock Band Contest back in 1964. It was lots of fun, even though it is a sad song.<\/p>\n

8. Dream a little dream of me<\/a><\/p>\n

This one makes me think of being on a tropical island.<\/p>\n

9. Sentimental journey<\/a><\/p>\n

Going back to make new memories.<\/p>\n

10. Don’t sit under the apple tree<\/a><\/p>\n

Here’s another one that takes me back to my childhood. My mother was involved in the Second World War, and she often sang it.<\/p>\n

11. Orange Blossom Special<\/a><\/p>\n

A Johnny Cash special from Folsom Prison.<\/p>\n

12. Let me be there<\/a><\/p>\n

Olivia would be proud!<\/p>\n

13. You light up my life<\/a><\/p>\n

We first heard this song by Pat Boone’s daughter when we went to his show in Johannesburg. It is so beautiful how they relate it to their daughter. To each of us, songs stir up certain feelings and memories.<\/p>\n

14. I can’t help falling in love with you<\/a><\/p>\n

Take my hand, take my whole life too! That is true love!<\/p>\n

15. Leaving on a jet plane<\/a><\/p>\n

I first heard this song at a Four Jacks and a Jill concert in the Bulawayo City Hall, back in the 60’s.<\/p>\n

16. The twelfth of never<\/a><\/p>\n

I first heard this one by Cliff Richard.<\/p>\n

17. Only you<\/a><\/p>\n

Guy and Ralna sing every song well.<\/p>\n

18. There’s no place like home<\/a><\/p>\n

So true.<\/p>\n

19. Moon over Miami<\/a><\/p>\n

I love the old fashioned clothing.<\/p>\n

About a hundred times or more, I have put links to songs on the YouTube, only to find they have later been taken off. Maybe people are uploading pirate copies, or maybe it\u2019s the Pirates of the Caribbean that are taking them.
