Pat Boone sings some of my favorite love songs, and I would like to share some of them with you.<\/p>\n
1. Remember you’re mine<\/a><\/p>\n I had this girl friend once, who told me: “What’s mine is mine, and what’s yours is mine.”<\/p>\n 2. I’m walking the floor over you<\/a><\/p>\n An oldie, but a goodie.<\/p>\n 3. Let me call you sweetheart<\/a><\/p>\n I played in a band long ago that did this number. On some of these songs his wife Shirley sings with him. On some of the pictures though, there is not his wife, but Shirley Jones.<\/p>\n 4. Side by side<\/a><\/p>\n When I was little I saw some folks sing this on TV in Salisbury, Rhodesia.<\/p>\n 5. My Happiness<\/a><\/p>\n This is still one of my favorite love songs. I think this was the first recording Elvis did – for his mother.<\/p>\n 6. Vaya con Dios<\/a><\/p>\n Very beautiful.<\/p>\n 7. Melody of love<\/a><\/p>\n This is a new one for me, but very nice.<\/p>\n 8. My blue heaven<\/a><\/p>\n I heard this as an instrumental when I was a teenager.<\/p>\n 9. Tennessee Waltz<\/a><\/p>\n An old standard.<\/p>\n 10. Blueberry Hill<\/a><\/p>\n Every singer gives their own different feeling to a song.<\/p>\n 11. Pearly Shells<\/a><\/p>\n One of my favorite love songs by Pat Boone. I still long to be by the sea.<\/p>\n 12. Why Baby why<\/a><\/p>\n I think this was maybe one of his big hits.<\/p>\n 13. Bernardine<\/a><\/p>\n I think this was the very first song I heard Pat Boone sing. I was about 11 years old at a friend’s house, and I saw the record cover with his face on it. It really impressed me, and I longed to be able to make a record myself one day, with my face on it.<\/p>\n 14. Rock around the clock<\/a><\/p>\n This was a big hit for Bill Haley when I was young, and I longed to grow up and party all night!<\/p>\n 15. Love letters in the sand – my favorite love song by Pat Boone<\/a><\/p>\n One of the greatest recordings ever. He told us that he had it on the “B” side of his record, because there has to be a song on the other side. He never expected it to be a hit.<\/p>\n 16. Ain’t that a shame<\/a><\/p>\n His copy of Fats Domino.<\/p>\n 17. Moon River<\/a><\/p>\n Such a lot of world to see. I’ve only been in 15 countries.<\/p>\n 18. Remember me, I’m the one who loves you<\/a><\/p>\n I was listening to Stuart Hamblin sing this yesterday.<\/p>\n 19. Begin the Beguine<\/a><\/p>\n I heard my mother sing this when I was little, and I never knew what she was talking about. Apparently “Beguine” is a dance.<\/p>\n 20. Harbor lights<\/a><\/p>\n My mother went to England during the war, in case some other harbour lights took her husband away from her. So I got born in England. Then after the war, they went back to Rhodesia.<\/p>\n 21. Running Bear<\/a><\/p>\n I loved this song when I was a teenager. We had the record by another singer.<\/p>\n 22. Everybody’s somebody’s fool<\/a><\/p>\n We have the Connie Francis recording.<\/p>\n 23. Jambalaya<\/a><\/p>\n Maybe Pat Boone was influenced by Hank Williams there in Nashville!<\/p>\n 24. Unchained Melody<\/a><\/p>\n Lonely rivers flow to the sea. I never knew rivers got lonely, but it is done very nicely.<\/p>\n 25. Rosemarie<\/a><\/p>\n It seems like a number of American singers had hits in countries like Germany or Japan. Maybe Pat Boone had the same experience.<\/p>\n 26. Sentimental me<\/a><\/p>\n Nice romantic video.<\/p>\n 27. Drifting and Dreaming<\/a><\/p>\n Beautiful pictures and singing.<\/p>\n 28. You can’t be true Dear<\/a><\/p>\n A sad song, but they sing it very nicely.<\/p>\n 29. Now is the hour<\/a><\/p>\n Beautiful.<\/p>\n 30. Hawaiian Wedding Song<\/a><\/p>\n Nice wedding.<\/p>\n 31. Mona Lisa<\/a><\/p>\n Well done.<\/p>\n 32. I left my heart in San Francisco<\/a><\/p>\n I have left my heart in many places, and that is one of them!<\/p>\n 33. Wayward Wind<\/a><\/p>\n My wayward ways are the fault of the train station. That’s a good excuse!
